Tun Treasures: September 2008

Well, September is over & it has been one really long month in our household. Alex was working two full time jobs (80 hrs a wk) for the past couple months & it has been rough on all of us. He quit his job in Neodesha at Cobalt Boats this last week though so now he's just working at Dayton here in Parsons. I'm glad he's no longer driving to Neody at 3:00 Am after only 2 hrs of sleep, cuz he had us all worried about his safety. I don't know how he was able to do it for so long, but he is doing good now that he is able to get enough sleep again. He is such a hard worker! The kids are also glad to be able to see their daddy more, Aaliyah was really beginning to miss him & AJ loves his time with daddy. I am not currently working, but I am going to start keeping more kids here at home for some extra income. I was working as a helper at a home daycare close by, but after I had AJ I took some time off & now I am going to run my own daycare. I am hoping that some other kids will help keep Aaliyah occupied & able to enjoy herself more instead of bouncing off the walls like she does now.

Also I have become an independent Herbalife distributor in the past few months, & my mom has lost 20 lbs on the products so far, so I know it works. I can't take some of the products b/c I am still bf AJ, but when I'm done bf then I will use the products to lose the baby weight I am still carrying. If anyone is interested, I posted my website & some info on another post. I am also going to start making chocolates (truffles & such) for sale, & yes I do realize that counteracts the whole weight loss process. :) What can I say, who doesn't love chocolate?

Well, that pretty much sums up our lives lately, I know we have been out of touch with everyone for quite some time, so I thought maybe a blog was a good idea. AJ is 5 months old & Aaliyah is 2 1/2 years, & they are a handful, so they keep me busy most of the time. AJ is teething right now & Liya is going through a major fit-throwing stage, which I am really hoping they will both grow out of soon! Aaliyah is way to much like me! :P Here are some recent pics of them, Liya loves to get her picture taken, but always makes silly faces.
